    • Congratulations to the 7th Grade Asa Clark Boys Basketball Teams. Both the Red and the Black teams finished the season with 7 wins and 0 losses. Last week the teams squared off in the classic Red vs. Black game. Black jumped out to an early lead scoring twice in the opening thirty seconds. Black's sharp passing game kept them in the lead until midway through the 2nd period when Red's tenacious half-court defense created turnovers and helped them take a 1-point lead into halftime.

In the second half, both teams left everything on the court. With multiple lead changes, every possession felt critical. Red held a 36-33 lead with just 2 minutes left but came up empty on two consecutive possessions. Black capitalized and hit two long-range shots to take a 39-38 lead with under a minute remaining. However, Red hit a late shot under pressure to take home a 40-39 victory!
