Hello second grade families! I hope you have made wonderful memories over the summer and I can't wait to hear about them. Our family has enjoyed days at Pewaukee Lake, trips to Eagle River, our first experience at Great America, and special visits with family and friends.
When not spending time with my family, I have been busy attending the Wisconsin Statewide Mathematics Initiative conference, reading about personalized learning, and preparing the classroom for your arrival.
Telling you a little bit about me, I will start with being a Chicago Bears fan because I grew up in Illinois. I went to Carthage College and have since earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading. I started my teaching career in rural New Hampshire 13 years ago. In that time, I also taught in Bloomington-Normal, IL, and New Berlin, WI.
I feel very fortunate to be an educator in the Pewaukee schools as well as a community member. I look forward to our partnership in making second grade a successful experience for your family!
