Freshmen will test on Monday, April 24 (B Day) and Tuesday, April 25 (A Day) while sophomores will test on Wednesday, April 26 (B Day) and Thursday, April 27 (A Day).

In order to accommodate testing, we will be altering our schedule on each of the 4 testing dates.  The exact schedule is as follows:

7:30 – 10:10  Aspire Testing (9th & 10th Graders)/Intervention & AP Review Sessions

A1/B1: 10:30 -11:30

A3/B3:

• A Lunch  11:30-12:00  Class 12:05-12:55
• B Lunch  Class 11:35- 12:00   Lunch 12:00-12:25 Class 12:30-12:55
• C Lunch  Class 11:35-12:25  Lunch 12:25-12:55

A2/B2: 1:00- 1:50

A4/B4: 1:55 - 2:45

**Please note we will not be hosting Resource on these dates and that 2nd and 3rd blocks are switched in order to accommodate a reasonable lunch schedule

During the testing time frame (7:30 – 10:10) we will be hosting academic intervention sessions for students who are not meeting academic expectation due to poor grades or missing work. Students identified as benefiting from additional assistance may also be requested to attend.

Students fitting this description will be individually notified no later than the end of the day on Friday, April 21 as to where and when they are to report on one or more of the above mentioned dates.  Attendance is mandatory for targeted students during these intervention sessions.

Advanced Placement teachers will also be hosting review sessions during the 7:30 -10:10 time frame.  AP students will be notified as to the exact time and location of these sessions.

Those students who are performing well academically and who are not requested by staff will not be required to report to school until first block begins at 10:30 on April 24-27.  Students who ride the bus or choose to come to school prior to 10:30, will be able to convene in the PHS cafeteria.

One additional schedule item:  In order to prepare our current sophomores and juniors for a new “arena scheduling” process for the 2017-18 school year, a mandatory meeting for these 2 groups is being held in the PHS auditorium at the following:

Current Juniors:  Monday, April 24 - 9:45 AM

Current Sophomores:  Tuesday, April 25 - 9:45 AM
