Spent The Past 13 Years In East Troy School District

PEWAUKEE, WI - Pewaukee School District has hired Ann Phillips as Dean of Students at Pewaukee High School effective July 1, 2018. Phillips fills the position vacated by the retirement of John Maltsch. Phillips joins the Pewaukee School District after 13 years as an English teacher and leader in the East Troy School District.

Beyond her English experiences at both middle and high school, her leadership experiences have included serving as an instructional coach as well as a PBIS coach.

“I am excited to join the leadership team at Pewaukee High School,” said Phillips. “I can't wait to meet the staff, students and parents in this great community. I look forward to supporting our students in their success skills and continuing the climate of excellence that is Pewaukee High School.”

Phillips earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater followed by: M.E. Professional Development from the
University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and M.S.E. Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.

“Ann is very clearly passionate about her role in the school district and working with kids,” said Brian Sniff, incoming Pewaukee High School principal. “Thinking about the population of students Ann will work with in this role, her care and concern, as well as her magnetic personality, will make a great motivator for some our more disenfranchised students. She will also be a tremendous staff leader, re-energizing our overall student culture. We are very excited for Ann to join our team for the 2018-2019 school year.”

Pewaukee School District is a public 4K-12 district offering an award-winning, future-ready education to over 3,000 students. We passionately commit to our mission to Open The Door To Each Child's Future.
