ACMS ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Good morning Asa Clark Middle School!  Today is Friday, January 8th.  Please stand as we say the pledge of allegiance…

• A reminder to all students, cell phones should be stowed away in your locker during school hours.  8th graders are allowed to access their phones during lunch, but their phone should return to their locker prior to their next class.  If you need to make a phone call during the day, please come down to the office.

• Allies Club is looking forward to our IN-PERSON meeting next Monday, January 11 after school, in Mrs. Whelan's room (Room 240)!  Please feel free to stop by for honest, real conversations about things that matter!  Your voices and opinions will be heard!  Please see Mrs. Giese or Mrs. Whelan with any questions.

• Book Club members! Just a reminder that our next meeting is next Tuesday, January 12, in room 240. Be sure to finish the scary book!

• The 7th grade Black team defeated Nature Hill last night, 24-14. After getting off to a very slow start in the first half, the Pirates came out aggressive in the second half, led by Zach Murphy, who scored a game-high 10 points. Drew Van Domelen added 6 points.  Boys basketball will practice today from 2:40-4:10.

• Attention International Club Members. There will be an International club meeting after school this Monday January 11 in Mrs. Kuelthau's room.

• A reminder to all students that we are returning to Phase 2 this coming Monday.  We will look forward to seeing all students Monday morning!

Happy Birthday today to Logan Peterson and Iziah Preiss. Happy Birthday to Rhea Johnson, who will celebrate over the weekend.
