ACMS ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Good morning Asa Clark Middle School!  Today is Wednesday, December 15th Please stand as we say the pledge of allegiance…

• We would like to welcome our guest teachers today.  Mr. Helland is in for Mr. Finn and Mr. Coke is in for Mrs. Karas-Schilling.

• Our 3 FIRST Lego League Challenge teams had great success competing at Regionals over the last few weeks culminating in two of them advancing to Sectionals. Team Future Shift won Best Robot Design Award, Team Paradigm Gear Shifters won the Core Values Award, and Team Lego Bros won the Innovation Award. They also ranked highly in the robot game itself. Congratulations to all of them and good luck this weekend at Sectionals!!!

• Last night the 8th grade teams traveled to West Allis to take on the Frank Lloyd Wright teams and came away with a split. In the opening game the stronger and more physical Wildcat Black team defeated the Pirate Black team 51 - 25. In the second game, a strong comeback highlighted by quick steals and timely three point baskets allowed the Pirate Red team to steal a double overtime victory over the Wildcat Gold team by a score of 42 - 37. The 8th grade teams are on the road again at Mukwonago on Thursday - good luck to both teams. 

• Mathcounts will meet from 2:45-3:45.

• Pirate dancers will practice from 3:15-5:15, Wrestling will practice from 3:30-5:30, and 7th grade boys basketball will practice from 3:15-4:45.  The 8th grade boys basketball team will take on Mukwonago tonight. Go Pirates!

• Students, please check the lost and found. Any items remaining on December 22nd will be donated.

• On the menu for lunch today.  Macaroni and cheese, cheese or pepperoni pizza, or a breakfast turkey sausage pizza.
