ACMS ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Good morning Asa Clark Middle School!  Today is Friday January 7th. Please stand as we say the pledge of allegiance…

• We would like to welcome our guest teachers today. Mr. Helland is teaching for Mrs. Bartel.

• Reminder to Students- You may bring your chromebooks with you to lunch, but you must stop and get them on your way to lunch. You will not be permitted to go to your locker during the lunch hour.  Additionally, there will be no outdoor recess today due to the cold weather.

• Last night the boys 8th grade Pirate teams hosted the Lane Middle School Patriots in two very competitive games. 

In the first game the Black team played some of their best ball of the season. With the score tied at 41 in the final 10 seconds the Pirates had the ball, but fortune struck for the visitors, as they stole the ball and made a game winning basket as time expired. Final score: 43-41. 

In the second game it was back and forth all game, with Pirates holding on to a lead late into the 4th quarter. Again with the score tied at 43, and the Pirates with the ball, the Patriots knocked the ball loose and took it in for the winning layup as time expired. Final Score: 45 - 43.  A giant shout out to all the players for playing some inspired ball.  

• On the menu for lunch today…Potato and cheese pierogies, cheese or veggie pizza, or Turkey and cheese on flatbread.

Happy Birthday today to Andrew Handeland and Maya Karpinski! Happy birthday to Logan Peterson, who will celebrate over the weekend!
