ACMS ANNOUNCEMENTS 

 

Good morning Asa Clark Middle School!  Today is Friday, January 14th. Please stand as we say the pledge of allegiance…



  • We would like to welcome our guest teachers today. Mr. Helland is teaching for Mr. Klink, Mr. Fish is teaching for Mrs. Brandenstein this afternoon, Mr. Kebisek is teaching for Mr. Finn in the afternoon, and Mrs. Braatz is helping in 6th grade.

 

  • Last night the 8th grade Pirate Red team traveled to West Milwaukee Middle School for a contest against the Panthers. The short-handed Pirates, playing with only 7 players,  jumped out to an early lead and held on at halftime for a 16 to 15 lead. In the second half the host team gathered second shots from rebounds and took the lead for good in the fourth quarter, eventually winning 44 - 33. Tremendous hustle and effort kept the Pirates in the game the entire time. Way to go guys. 

 

  • The middle school wrestling team is off to a hot start winning all 3 of their first dual meets by a combined score of 235-30.  The team is still accepting new wrestlers.  If being a member of the team interests you, please reach out to Coach Scannell.

 

  • Attention all incoming freshmen who want to play football next season for the state champion Pirates. Coach Friske wants to meet with all of you next Thursday, January 20th in resource. Please use the Flexished option when signing up for next week's choices and sign up for Coach Graf's resource in room 221. If you have any questions about this resource meeting, stop by Coach Graf's room anytime for help. 

 

  • Wrestling will practice from 3:30-5:30 today and take on Mukwonago in a match tomorrow. Go Pirates!

 

  • 6th and 7th grade students - a reminder to work with your parents this weekend to pick your course requests for next year. Scheduling closes on Tuesday, January 18th.

 

  • On the menu for lunch today…Curry Chicken, Cheese or garlic chicken pizza, or a spicy chicken sandwich.

 

Happy Birthday today to Aiden Weick!  Happy birthday over the long weekend to the following students: Myra Kachikis, Andrew Semrad, William Utz, Deegan Depcik, Kaydee Kowalewski, Kallie Robertson, Samantha Brewster, Ben Deprez-Foley, Allison McLaughlin, Landri Prell, and Ananya Yatish!
