ACMS ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Good morning Asa Clark Middle School!  Today is Wednesday, January 19th. Please stand as we say the pledge of allegiance…

• We would like to welcome our guest teachers today.  Mrs. Canning is teaching for Mr. Roehl, Mrs. Stearns is helping in 6th grade, and Mr. Fish is teaching for Mr. Finn this afternoon. 

• Wrestling will practice from 3:30-5:30, boys basketball from 3:15-4:45, and pirate dancers from 3:30-5:30.

• Math Counts will meet from 2:45-3:45.

• Last night the Pirate boys 8th grade teams took on the teams from Frank Lloyd Wright middle school. In the opener the visitors jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Pirates made it close in the end, hitting some big threes to draw within 10 points, eventually falling 69 - 57 In the second game the Pirates fought hard, playing good defense in the second half and cut the lead to eight late in the 4th quarter before eventually falling 35 - 25. Good efforts all around players.

• Congratulations to Danielle Heer - She is the first winner of the library Boggle contest.  Danielle should see Mrs. Turba for her prize.    Stop down to the library and see how many words you can make from this week's Boggle board.

• On the menu for lunch today…Potato and cheese pierogies, cheese or meat lovers pizza, or mini turkey corn dogs.
