Welcome to Fourth Grade!
I will be your student’s fourth grade reading, writing, and language arts teacher this year. This is my 6th year teaching fourth grade in Pewaukee, my 19th year working with fourth graders, and my 22nd year overall in teaching.
It’s been a fun summer for our family. Tyson, our boxer, decided that he wanted to do everything with us this summer.....including sitting like a human on car rides.
The family went to Canada this summer and got to hike, swim, fish and take a whitewater rafting trip. We spent Canada Day in Calgary and got to celebrate their special holiday. We even bumped into Mrs. Swanson, our vice principal, while in Canada!
We have also been busy with baseball, biking, fishing, and now football-- being outside and active is what we love. When the weather does not cooperate we enjoy cooking, reading, and watching American Ninja Warrior. While I'm not a ninja, I did participate in the Warrior Dash again this year; a 5K obstacle course. I'm always striving to reach new heights. :-)
