Welcome to second grade! My name is Mrs. Zahn and this is my seventh year teaching at Pewaukee Lake Elementary. I graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a major in elementary education and minor in Spanish. I have taught summer school for grades K-2 and held first grade positions in New Berlin and East Troy. In 2010, I completed my Early Literacy Success (ERE) reading intervention certification through Alverno College and earned my Reading Teacher License through Viterbo University in June 2016. Currently I'm in the process of obtaining a Masters Degree through Viterbo University with an expected graduation date of July 2017. In addition to teaching and furthering my education, I enjoy coaching the Pewaukee Varsity Dance Team, spending time with family and friends, and reading.

Throughout the year, I hope to inspire students with my enthusiasm and passion for teaching. Each student will learn, grow, and succeed through active and engaging learning experiences.
