Pewaukee High School (PHS) is located on an all-school campus and includes grades 9 - 12. The school day begins or starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. and periods are run on the block schedule. New classroom areas were completed in Dec. 2012 and includes: a 2-story addition with eight additional classrooms, a new replacement gym, a new 750-seat auditorium, and remodeled fine arts areas.
PHS has the highest graduation rate in southeastern Wisconsin, according to the Department of Public Instruction's School Performance Report. Early intervention is an important step in reaching all students. Careful data analysis guides educators in determining areas of need and the best possible approach to helping students reach their goals.
Students are also encouraged to challenge themselves through a wide offering of Advanced Placement courses. PHS is continually striving to offer cutting edge programs and courses. Recent additions include the STEM program in the Technology Education department and Chinese in the World Language department.
