In Essential Humanities this year, we will be continuing our exploration of culture and how culture impacts society. We will also focus on our ability to comprehend and engage with various texts. Students will complete a personal narrative, an argumentative essay, and informative pieces of writing. As a class, we will explore our own beliefs and opinions and work to understand how our beliefs fit into world society.
In English 10, students will focus on developing their reading and writing skills in the context of fiction, as well as non-fiction, pieces of writing. We will explore as a class how societies can be created and the role that evil plays in our world.
